Axel Budde is used to cameras. He formerly worked as a Rig-Operator on Car Shoots, but last year he turned his hobby into a profession with his own custom motorcycle shop. He builds the most beautiful Moto Guzzi Caferacers you can imagine – and as you can see, he also knows to ride them.I was more than happy, when Ramp Magazine asked me to shoot him and his personal bike for a 10 page feature in their latest issue.
Thanks to the great people at Rialto Cinema in Hamburg Wilhelmburg for letting us work in front of their place.
And don't forget to check out the bikes at: http://www.kaffee-maschine.net
Together with Agency Philipp und Keuntje from Hamburg we created and shot theese installations related to technical or design features of the new Audi A8. They are part of a beautiful limited edition book called ‚The Art of Progress', which was send as a direct mail to Audi's most precious customers. And for the first time on a project like this i was not only behind the camera, but also in front of it, since i am featured in the book with thoughts on design and aesthetics. ...oh and yes, we also took some nice shots of the car of course.
